Leisure is a major part of the London economy. You can easily sense it when you roam around the city. For example, there are many circus troupes at the front of the underground station. 

休闲是伦敦经济的重要组成部分。当你在城市里漫步时，你可以很容易地感觉到它。例如，在地铁站前有许多马戏团。

Except for the common entertainment facility, there are also various activities every year, starting with the relatively new New Year’s Day Parade, fireworks are set off at the London Eye; Notting Hill Carnival, the second largest street party in the world, is held on the late August Bank Holiday each year.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park (with Kensington Gardens in the foreground) has been a popular public space since it opened in 1637. This is the most comfortable and relaxing park that I enjoy before. The famous Buckingham Palace is near the wonderful park. I also brought some Royal souvenirs to the left side of Buckingham Palace. Close to Hyde Park are smaller Royal Parks, Green Park, and St. James’s Park, those parks were built as an elegant and delicate way.

Museums, art galleries and libraries

London is home to many museums, galleries, and other institutions, like the well-known structure-British Museum which impresses me a lot, and the museum now has 7 million artifacts from around the globe.

Since I was very young, the walls of our house have been covered pictures with of various master -style oil paintings and sculptures, so when I visited the British Museum, I found many authentic paintings I had seen the pictures before, which made me very excited. For instance, Rosetta Stone. In 1799, in a small village called Rosetta in the Nile Delta, soldiers inadvertently dug up a black broken monument 1.14 meters high and 0.73 meters wide while building fortifications. This is the Rosetta Stone, which was made in 196 BC and engraved with the imperial edict of Ptolemy V, the ancient Egyptian king, on his accession to the throne. The same content was engraved on the stone tablet with Greek characters, ancient Egyptian characters, and popular characters at that time.

Also, the British Library is the second largest library in the world and the national library of the United Kingdom.

About the LGBT

The first gay bar in London in the modern sense was The Cave of the Golden Calf, established as a nightclub in an underground location at 9 Heddon Street, just off Regent Street, in 1912 and became a haunt for the wealthy, aristocratic, and bohemian. Today the annual London Pride Parade and the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival are held in the city. 

伦敦第一家现代意义上的同性恋酒吧是“金牛洞”，1912年在摄政街附近的黑登街9号成立了一家地下夜总会，后来成为富人、贵族和波西米亚人的常去之地。如今，一年一度的伦敦游行和伦敦男女同性恋电影节在伦敦举行。

What is the LGBT group? LGBT generally refers to sexual minorities. Sexual minorities refer to groups that are different from most people in society in terms of sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual identity, or sexual behavior. However, not everyone is familiar with or willing to accept the LGBT group, especially older people. Since for one thing, they do not have a general perception about the LGBT group, for another, even though they know what the LGBT group is, they still insist on their feudalistic ideas and believe the LGBT group is disgusting.

什么是LGBT群体？LGBT通常指性少数群体。性少数群体是指在性取向、性别认同、性认同或性行为方面与社会大多数人不同的群体。然而，并不是每个人都熟悉或接受LGBT群体，尤其是老年人。因为一方面，他们对LGBT群体没有普遍的认识，另一方面，即使他们知道什么是LGBT群体，他们仍然坚持自己的封建思想，认为LGBT群体是令人厌恶的。
