Supermarket
What grabbed me most is the humanization in British supermarkets. After 6 p.m., employees will stick the price of bread or ripe food at about 1 pound, which can not only fill the local tramps but also make the dishes sell quickly rather than break down (I spend $1 every night to buy 10 chicken wings!)

Full English Breakfast
Enjoying the wonderful breakfast towards the Tower bridge in the morning in the hotel is the most relaxing and pleasant time for me of the day. This traditional meal is rather substantial, with bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, baked beans, tomatoes, and mushrooms all laid out on a big plate. Baked beans are the most popular and unique food on U.K. menu.

Fish & Chip
Since the 19th century, this British favorite food – battered snow-white fish paired with fluffy chips, liberally sprinkled with salt and doused in vinegar- has been loved by people.
The origin of this dish is controversial since some people believe that a Lancastrian named John Lee opened a fish and chip shop in 1863, while others believe that Joseph Malin, a Jewish immigrant living in East London, even sold fish and chips as early as 1860. No matter which version you believe, it is undeniable that fish and chips are very popular not only in London but also in the country.
Since I love Fish & Chips when I lived in China, English traditional Fish & Chips still excites me a lot. My family and I tried our first traditional Fish & Chips at Debenhams Oxford Street, it was delicious!

English tea
It was in 1840 that the Duchess of Bedford shared her guilty secret of enjoying tea and snacks a few hours before dinner, setting a trend that would evolve to become a national tradition. Today, afternoon tea in London enjoys celebratory status.
When I was in London, I tried a variety of afternoon tea, and the most attractive for me is the Afternoon tea at The Goring Hotel which is near Buckingham Palace. This place is best for royalists and traditionalists.
The royal family made no secret of their love for the Goring hotel. The Duchess of Cambridge spent the night before her wedding here; The queen holds the annual staff Christmas lunch here, which is also the only hotel in the world with a royal license. There are even rumors that there is a secret tunnel between the hotel and Buckingham Palace, so the queen and her colleagues can sneak in without being noticed.
Before the carbs, a plate of strawberries arrives – which goes perfectly with the glass of pink Bollinger poured at the table from a huge magnum.

Viet food
Viet food impressed me a lot since it was overseas Chinese who opened a Vietnamese shop opposite our hotel. When we went to buy it one night, the clerk gave us a lot of snacks, new products, soup for free, and gave us half price for all our food.
