They are not only a crucial part of maintaining the earth&#8217;s ecosystem but also provide a large amount of food for people. Our life probably originated in the ocean. The ocean absorbs heat, which is then dispersed globally by currents to help manage our climate. Phytoplankton in the oceans absorb carbon dioxide and produce at least 50% of the Earth&#8217;s oxygen. The ocean&#8217;s contributions to the world are significant, and we can&#8217;t live without oceans.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, the oceans are now becoming increasingly vulnerable. Global warming, ocean acidification, garbage discharge, wastewater discharge, and other human activities have made the ocean environment weaker and weaker. The oceans cover about 70% of the earth&#8217;s surface area.
