Marine Protection Contest

I have seen many documentaries about the ocean, and I also know that the ocean has provided us with great wealth. So through this activity, I was completely inspired and wanted to draw a picture with my own hands to tell people about the current phenomenon of environmental pollution.

In this painting, I personify the sea and paint it as a mother. My background is black, which represents the darkness caused by the pollution of the earth. It can also be thought of as the waste discharged by the sailing ship next to the mother of the sea or oil leakage. Mother sea’s hair has many waves, and these circles are like waves. The sea mother looks very painful and sad. The “necklace” strung around her neck is actually cans of human leftover garbage. The hairpin of the mother of the sea is a fish’s bone, implying that the pollution of the sea has tortured the creatures in the sea. I want to use anthropomorphic techniques to appeal to people that we should pay attention to the environment. Perhaps nature has the same emotions as human beings, and maybe she will cry silently when she is destroyed.
