What does New York look like in my eyes

It was my first time in New York City when I was four years old. Everything made me so excited and amazed. Our family arrived inNew York first by plane with a travel agency. Beijing to New York is 7,400miles (11,900 kilometers), and the flight time is 14 hours. 14 hours was a verylong time for me when I was four years old.

I can’t remember what I did on the airplane but I’msure that I was very excited to fly to a new place. We first lived in Marriott Hotel near the airport. There were computers with free Internet access in thehotel, my dad opened his blog (mainly recording my life) to show me, I thought it was interesting.

  The next day, we went to the World Trade Centersite, I took a photo with my good friends in the tour group! Then we went toLiberty Island to feed the seagulls!

The opposite of Liberty Island isManhattan, New York.

Manhattan is the center of New York. The mostimportant commercial, financial, and insurance institutions in New York aredistributed here. Wall Street, the world financial center, is in lowerManhattan, while New York’s large enterprises and business centers are inmidtown Manhattan.

There are more than 5500 tall buildings in Manhattan, of which 35are more than 200 meters. It is the largest concentration of skyscrapers in theworld. It has the landmark Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Chryslerbuilding, metropolitan life insurance building, and other buildings in NewYork. 

Every night, thousands of skyscrapers in midtown Manhattan shine allnight. It reflects the absolute strong economic strength of New York in theworld, so Midtown Manhattan is also known as “the best place in theworld”.

Dinner for those days was served at this family buffet chain storeat $12 per person. It was a buffet and very rich in variety and belongs to thevalue-added type. Since I only arrived in the United States for two days, Ididn’t dare to eat seafood, crabs, shellfish, and other raw foods.
